What users should know
The UCloud platform is once again up and running.
All old resources have expired except storage
All previous allocations of compute resources have been automatically expired. This is because we now have access to an entirely separate datacenter, and none of the previous resources are available to us.
What has changed?
- The storage allocations have changed name from
u1-cephstostorage. - All
u1-standardCPU resources andu3-gpuresources have become redundant.
How do you get new resources?
- Apply for CPU resources now called: cpu-amd-zen5
- Apply for GPU resources now called: gpu-nvidia-b200
If you have not yet applied for the new compute resources cpu-amd-zen5 and gpu-nvidia-b200, you must do so before you can use them.
The application procedure has been simplified dramatically, and you now only need to apply inside the UCloud platform. For more information read the How to access UCloud page.
For technical details about the new hardware and machine types, see the official SDU migration guide.
AAU datacenters are now closed
The old AAU datacenters, AAU/VM and AAU/K8, are now closed. As a result, any data and services that were hosted in these environments are no longer accessible.
